at MassArt under Alexandra Candelas, i researched 2022’s market of insulin pumps, conducted comparative & SWOT analyses, formed an MVP, branded, then prototyped a competing insulin pump mobile app, “Fi-Cap.”
as a type-1 diabetic myself, i felt challenged by the market’s shortcomings and wanted to put my ideas to use. as of 2025, many of the features I had developed for Fi-Cap are now standard in Insulet’s OmniPod 5.
